How to Install gpm software package in Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin)

gpm software package provides General Purpose Mouse interface, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install gpm

gpm is installed in your system.

Make ensure the gpm package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gpm *

You will get with gpm package name, version, architecture and description in a table
